Stylish Solar Summer

And so it began.. Three days full of creativity and music.. It was the weekend of Solar 2010!

Solar is a crossover festival and has a diverse line-up of different styles of music, such as: techno, house, pop and hiphop. But that’s not all; the festival is all about creativity too! During the festival different groups of artists can show their work. But visitors can be creative too, as you can paint, write love letters and there was even an area where you can exchange all kinds of stuff. You can swop shirts, but also stuffed animals or a gigantic inflatable hammer.. Solar, a huge playground for adults…

Let’s not forget it’s also just a festival, which makes it very interesting for us at fashiolista.com to see what trends are being spotted. Over the years, festivals have become hip and trendy. That’s why we decided to pay this festival a visit and start our search for the most original looks. We spotted some great trends and had chats with many inspirational fashiolistas. So take a look and get inspired for your next festival outfit!

#1: Denim

This girl caught our eyes because of her cool denim shorts.  She wears it with a scarf around the waist, which gives it a soft and feminine touch.

A pair of denim shorts in a different way. The outfit has a soft touch too, because of the bleached colour. The cropped tops are a new trend, though not many people have the guts to pull it off. However, she’s totally getting it!

#2 The safari trend:

Being influenced by the safari trend, this fashion babe is inspired by Africa’s beige tones, as well as green, kaki and brown.

This girl is also rocking the safari trend, but in a completely different way. She wears a comfortable playsuit that’s easygoing.

#3 Hats

We spotted a great deal of  hats. Hats are definitely something to keep an eye on!

An artistic outfit for this girl. Her hat, sunglasses and red hot lips caught our eye. Because the rest of her outfit is all black it doesn’t feel over accessorized, but just right.

The cowboy hat was a big hit. This outfit, so simple and easy, but with great vintage boots and the cowboy hat… You go girl!

The Micheal Jackson hat was spotted many times! Different colours and materials have been seen, but this was our all-time favourite! She wears it with a comfortable playsuit, something we saw a lot too! Very comfortable and it looks great en very stylish!

A daring combination for this girl, but it works! Sometimes you have to try and just do it. The different prints are more than enough, so keep it simple with the accessories.

Another interesting trend was the stylish girly one.

#4 Girly with a twist

She rocks this girly laced high waisted dress with tough boots! What can we say.. LOVE THE OUTFIT!

A leather skirt with a soft blouse with lace gives her a girly look with a twist. Edgy, but we like it.

A wide long kaki blouse with a belt around her waist. Combined with cute sandals, and you’re ready for a day at Solar festival.

On top of that, we also saw some very inspirational individuals. We present to you:

#5 the girls with confidence

This beige outfit is simple but very clean. Her haircut and fierce sunglasses are the finishing touch!

We saw a lot of different tights. We loved this one! The denim blouse and her t-shirt kept her outfit simple and clean.

This girl has her own style. She costumised the top and denim jacket herself. Because of this personal touch she wears a unique outfit and she wears it with style. By the way, love the sunglasses!

Solar, three days full of music and art. But most of all, three days of FASHION!
