This year calls for major glam!

Before we officially say goodbye to the year 2011, there is an important question to answer. What to wear on one of the most spectacular and special night of the year? We can imagine that it’s quite hard to find the right look for this holiday (after using all your inspiration for your Christmas outfits!) but there’s no need to worry about spending lots of money on that last-minute NYE dress. Our (budget)tip: dare to wear your Christmas dress/party outfit for the second time! But there is one rule.. Give your look a total make-over by adding the right accessories.

Be inspired by glitter nail polish, fancy hair bows, the perfect platform heels and gold statement necklaces.

Christmas time is possibly the best time to spend in Paris. The streets are bathed in lights, the stores are beautifully decorated and it’s really worth to go window shopping and overall the whole city is glittering. It is truly magnificent. We had a real Indian summer in September and October with high temperatures but that is definitely over now. It is freezing cold and rainy in the capital of fashion… but that’s no reason to be sad, since stylish Parisiennes have found the perfect solution to dress to impress in the cold: colorful coats preferably in combination with a peter pan collar or a fake fur collar. They are super-stylish, feminine and really give your outfit a cute Parisian touch!

Event | Coach & Vogue Holiday fashion event

A couples nights ago your Fashiolista editors attended the Coach & Vogue magazine Holiday fashion event, which was hosted by one of the biggest US bloggers Leandra from the ManRepeller. Of course we got to meet Leandra in person (who looked stunning as always!), we mingled with the other guests, had a glass of champaign and took a sneak peek in the Coach store, down Madison Avenue in Uptown NYC. We must say that Coach is doing really well, since we fell head over heels with some of the reintroduced classic pieces, shown on the picture below. Amazing classic leather bags, and also great men’s accessories which make perfect gifts for the upcoming holidays! A nice little extra of the night were the initialed hangtags that you could make for free.
