It’s been a little while since I’ve stopped working full time at Fashiolista. I’ve first enjoyed my holidays in the sun and then, back in Holland again, I’m now preparing for Paris where I am going to stay for almost half a year. This includes also desperately standing in front of the closet, not knowing what to take or what to leave. I surely would like to take my whole closet with me just – to make sure that I’ll look stylish any time in this capital city of fashion.
Well, it’s definitely not possible to put my entire closet into two (way too tiny) suitcases. There’s one thing to do: selection. And as I’ve read, French women must be master in fashion selection and extravagant minimalism.
So I’ve decided to go after the typical “5-piece-French-wardrobe”. That means that I should take five very classic and very basic pieces from my wardrobe in order to then combine those basics with a bit more extravagant high-street or even designer pieces and always look stylish and chic.
