Over the past few years we have seen some crazy heels. This season too, at the openingssoiree of Amsterdam International Fashion Week, Dutch designer Jan Taminiau created something very special for his Haute Couture collection…

Fitting shoes at Paul Warmer, an elaborate tour at denim brand Denham, and an exclusive peek behind the scenes at Ready To Fish_… Carolina, Andy, Louise, Denni & Alix are treated like celebrities wherever they enter.
Time to get dressed ladies, because tonight will be yet another adventure…
Denim brand Denham explains its philosophy by giving us a tour of round jeans with exclusive dyes, vintage materials used in new jeans and its cool collaborations with artists.
Ready To Fish_ is a Dutch designer brand, based in Amsterdam. It has an amazing brand store, with especially crafted furniture, a bar, and an innovative music listening system. Our blogger babes are shown a sneak preview of the new collection, the atelier and workspace.
After lunch at Cafe George, we head into town. Obviously, some vintage shopping cannot be excluded either, and the girls buy lacy kimono’s, embroidered gloves, sparkling belts and cute purses.

Day 1 of our trip was all about Bloggers, Bites and Boattrips.
After our lovely bloggers had safely landed in Amsterdam and checked in to their comfy hotel rooms, we hit off with a cosy welcome toast. Off course clothing couldn’t be missing so there was a whole reck to choose from; BB Dakota, Samsoe and many more…
After that, we went on to the G-Star boat to make a nice little tour around the Amsterdam canals with some other bloggers and Fashiolista friends. This lead us to the final event of the evening, the AIFW openings soiree with Jan Taminiau; photo’s will follow!

In a couple of days my life will solely consist of LBD’s, the right red lipstick and matching glitz and glam accessories. Amsterdam International Fashion Week is approaching fast, and slowly you can sense a buzzing excitement: Amsterdam is ready for some fashion. Bring on those new collections, the sparkly shows and some dressed up drama queens. Get ready for popping champaign, ravishing runways and magnificent models. But most of all, prepare yourself for a week with the coolest blog babes in the world. In desperate need of some fabulous knits and basic jerseys? We’ve found the perfect brand for you! This Amsterdam based fashion brand, called Anecdote, started out with knits only. Nowadays it’s also adding some jerseys and cotton. I was immediately on board because of their fine materials and serene colors which make these items as the perfect basics in your closet. My personal favorites are definitely the cable knit sweaters.
